Quality Problems to delay iPhone
The Smarthouse News reports on possible delays to the launch of the iPhone due to quality problems.
Han Hai, the company manufacturing the iPhone, is reportedly concerned about the robustness of the phone and that the software is so power-hungry it's effecting performance.
The issue is that if they release a flawed product that they'll be flooded with warranty claims - as well as bad PR. It appears they've moved developers off the Mac OS x product on to the iPhone to resolve the problems and get the product shipped on time. This just shows how much importance Apple are placing on the iPhone.
BusinessWeek have also reported that a number of iPhone suppliers have said that the iPhone won't be released in the USA until the end of June.
